Quick Hits

Pistons

Oh no another HOME loss....Oh my goodness, pack it in the season is over.  How does this team continue to dissappoint. Its Lazy and Lackluster play is disheartening.  The players seem lost out there. They lack cohesiveness.  These players need to go back to college.  <SLAP>  Ouch...oh i thought i was writing about the Atlanta Hawks....MY BAD.

Ok so the Pistons lost a game, big deal. Life isn't all Rainbows and Lollipops.  They will rebound.

Wings

I guess Manny Legace wants to continue to be the starting goalie for the Wings.  Having a shutout on Thursday against the Blues (which i was lucky enough to attend) and than coming back Friday night and only giving up One goal to the Highly talented Nashville Predators.  Wings look sharp. It was nice to see Steve Yzerman on the ice on Thursday, the game i went to earlier in the year he didn't play so i was glad to see him out there.

NFL

2 for 2 yesterday on my pics and i am quite confident I will end up 4 for 4. If i dont get all 4 right i will be spitting on the nearest family member i can find.

--i wont be losing any sleep over running into the Jazz in the Finals.--

Of course not. Your only worry is either the Spurs or Suns. For us Jazz fans, though...well, we gotta take our thrills where we can get them, and beating the Pistons is probably about as good as it's going to get--unless we manage to somehow make the Playoffs.

Yeah, to a Pistons fan, losing one home game is no biggie. To a Jazz fan, however, beating the Detroit Pistons both at home and away is a serious happy-happy. Now, no matter how fugly the rest of the season gets--and being the Jazz, it might--we have one upbeat bit to remember: We beat the mighty Pistons twice this year and OWN THEM.
