Subject: "Galaxy Zoo" Forum now online...
Time: 2:14:00 PM EDT
Author:  stuartatk

It's a couple of weeks now since Galaxy Zoo launched, and it's taken over the world! Countless thousands of people all across the globe are now busily classifying galaxies, looking for strange examples of galaxies that are merging, being torn apart, or flying through the universe in groups. It's fantastic fun, but so far it's been a bit of a lonely pastime, because there's been nowhere for "Zooers" to meet up and share their experiences and favourite galaxies.

Well, there is now. Today the Galaxy Zoo Forum went live, and altready, just a few hours later, there's an active, enthusiastic and vibrant "Zoo Community" up and running, swapping images, offering hints and tips, and generally nattering on about the joys of being part of such an amazing project and adventure.

So, if you're an experienced galaxy classifier, or a new visitor to the Zoo, please register at the Forum (it's a separate registration, you can't just enter the forum right away) and join in the conversations. You'll be made very welcome!
