Subject: Earth from the Moon...

The Japanese KAGUYA (aka SELENE) probe is now orbiting the Moon, and sending back a few pictures. The ones sent back so far aren't highly detailed, but they're still pretty cool! Look at this one...

Some great detail visible on the Moon's surface there... but my favourite of the new batch has to be this one...

See that blue blob above the metallic foil thingy over on the left? That's EARTH! That's where you live, seen from a quarter of a million miles away...! :-)

Can't wait for the hi-quality pictures to start coming in...
