The Mars Exploration Rover SPIRIT seems to be getting ready to move off Homeplate and head for one of the many interesting features that can be found around it. I've made a mosaic of a couple of raw rover images and colourised it to show what "Von Braun" - named after the famous German rocket engineer - looks like as Spirit edges towards it...
Fascinating place... :-)
