Subject: COLUMBUS ready to fly...
Time: 5:30:00 PM EST
Author:  stuartatk

Tomorrow evening, weather permitting (how astronomers and spaceflight enthusiasts hate those words!!!!) the shuttle Atlantis should blast off from Kennedy space centre, carrying with it the European Space Agency's COLUMBUS module, which will be docked to the International Space Station over the weekend.

Instead of writing about the mission here, I'll just point you to an article on spacEurope that I was invited to write by my good friend Rui, who runs the popular and respected blog. Hope you enjoy it!

"Hail Columbus - and Godspeed!"
