Subject: Enceladus fly-by tomorrow...
Time: 4:41:00 AM EDT
Author:  stuartatk

Tomorrow is a big day for the scientists and engineers behind the CASSINI mission, because the amazingly successful probe will fly towards and then through the bizarre geysers that shoot out of cracks in the icy moon's south pole. It's an encounter planetary scientists and space enthusiasts alike have had written on their wall planners and in their diaries for months, and it will provide us with not just some stunning new images of this enigmatic moon, but priceless information about what's happening beneath its cracked and cratered surface.

As many missions are doing now, the CASSINI team are writing a blog about the encounter, with regular updates from people involved in the mission and the encounter, and you can go to that by clicking here.
