Opportunity is slowly but surely moving closer to Cape Verde, and we're starting to see some fascinating detail in the rocks that make up the cliff... here's a colourised image (combing three raw colour filter b&w images to make a single colour frame) I made showing the latest view...
You can almost hear the geologists sighing "lovely layers, lovely layers!" as they look at pictures like this...:-)
