LMAO as I read this.. but I have been there and done that. In fact my phone lines are staticy now as I write this. I am debating whether to get rid of my land lines and just keep my cell But whether it be my DSL or my land lines I am trouble shooting.. I don't go thru all those steps they tell me to do.. unplugging another phone and trying it in that jack or taking the phone and trying it outside, or using new phone wires, or unplugging everying in the house and plugging it back in. I have usually already tried it ahead of time, or I just tell them I have already tried it and it didn't work or pretend I am doing it as I am talking to them.because it is NOT the inside wiring like they are hoping it is... it is always something outside on their end. You sure have a great sense of humor as you deal with the frustrating things in your life.. so keep looking at the humous side and keep making us laugh.

Okay, I know this whole deal was not supposed to be funny, but damned if you didn't make me sit here and giggle!
