Subject: Vince Vaughn's New Girl

Vince Vaughn

Vince Vaughn has a new love interest -- in his upcoming Warner Bros. comedy 'Joe Claus,' that is. Elizabeth Banks, best known for her hilarious nymphomaniac turn in 'The 40-Year-Old Virgin' (yes, she's the one who enjoys a close personal relationship with her shower head), has joined the cast of director David Dobkin's follow-up to the smash hit 'Wedding Crashers.' 'Claus' tells the story of Santa's loser brother (Vaughn), who lives in New York City and nearly ruins Christmas when he visits the North Pole. Banks will play the very organized, very anal and very attractive member of Santa's Little Helpers who may help Joe get over his sibling rivalry issues and have that very merry Christmas he's always wanted.

Elizabeth Banks

In case you were wondering -- and I'm going to assume you were -- Banks is pretty busy these days. She'll next appear on-screen in the based-on-a-true-story football drama 'Invincible,' which co-stars Mark Wahlberg and hits theaters Aug. 25. She also just wrapped shooting on the romantic dramedy 'Bill,' opposite Aaron Eckhart and Jessica Alba, and is in final talks to star with Ryan Reynolds, Derek Luke, Isla Fisher and possibly Rachel Weisz in the romantic comedy 'Definitely, Maybe.' And, if you're as much of a 'Scrubs' aficionado as I am, you'll be happy to know that Banks will also be reprising her role on the NBC show when it returns this January. She plays a sexy urologist whom J.D. (Zach Braff) may have impregnated. High fives all around.

No one is forcing you to read about the twits of twinsletown; you just like to.  Hollywood is all about common people fantasizing about beefcake and cheesecake playing hide the salami - wherever!  Marriage is generally a convenience item unless it making it work is the number one agenda for both partners.  These people always put carrer first so that the purpose of marriage is seldom deeper than convenient companionship and convenient sex, nether of which is a basis for a life long relation.

I mean - I wish the best for Brad and Angelina, but If I had to choose between her and several million dollars, I'd be gone, trailing smoking tire tracks.

When is this gonna stop? I'm so sick of hearing whose dating who, whose getting married then getting divorced two months later...it's a waste of time. You'd think one day they'd get the idea and either settle down with someone or go solo. And just because two well known, attractive famous people land in the same movie together doesn't mean they have some die-hard relationship on the rise. What is it with people and jumping to conclusions about this celebrity relationship business? I hate seeing good actors/actresses ruin their reputations and whatnot because of a shoddy relationship that blew up in their faces. Vince and Elizabeth are both very good at their job, but let's leave it at that. Same with everyone else whose traveling from household to household out there- it gets old.
