Subject: Gyllenhaal to Play Lance Armstrong in Biopic?

It's no secret that Jake Gyllenhaal, Matthew McConaughey and Lance Armstrong have become best pals as of late. Pretty much every celeb-oriented Web site has pictures of them cycling together. And in the case of McConaughey and Armstrong, there are even some priceless photographic gems of them pretending to be Slider and Maverick in 'Top Gun,' aka flexing their pecs for the ladies while playing some volleyball on the beach in Miami.
What you may find surprising is that while McConaughey was long thought to be the frontrunner to play Armstrong in an upcoming biopic about the champion cycler's triumphant battle with testicular cancer, a bevy of reputable sources are now buzzing that Gyllenhaal will be the one jumping into Spandex and make-believe winning some Tours de France. Is this rumor true? Only time will tell. Until then, hold onto your Spandex and keep on cyclin'.

i think jake would do a fine job playing lance. I think some people are a little obessed with homosexuals and since the two movies have nothing to do with each other let's concentrate on whether his acting ability is up to par which it is and not what we seem to be afraid of. I can't wait to see him as lance armstrong.

Jake playing a roll of a legend? The biggest legend of this decade? No offense didn't he just play a roll where he took it up the butt and now he whants to play a man with great accomplishments and only one testicle. Hey more props to Jake to show his diversity as long as we don't find out through the movie that Lance went both ways. Although Jake might enjoy that bicycle seat a little to much if you know what I mean. Who knows? I guess the big screen will show all..... JAKES LINES : "I can finish first .... Oh that seat feels so good the faster I peddle fast..... If I could only picture Heath Ledgers face on the seat ..... Yes .... Heath first place while sitting on your face..." Last off Mathew McConaughey is a bad ass and isn't he closer to Lances age? Plus Mathew is from Austin and so is Lance and Mathew is freakin ripped If I was Lance I would totally want a bad ass like Mathew over Jake. .....The older I get they stay the same age...Jake stick to the sausages.
