Subject: EXCLUSIVE: First Look at 'The Number 23' Poster

The number 23 is most often associated with NBA legend Michael Jordan or, if you're a diehard Yankees fan, Donnie 'Baseball" Mattingly.
But from now on, you may also associate it with the movie 'The Number 23,' thanks to your first-ever peek at this creepy (yet undeniably cool) poster featuring Jim Carrey. If you look closely, you'll notice that Carrey has a bunch of crap -- including the number 23 -- scribbled all over his usually-funny-but-here-very-serious face. Click on the image for a larger version of the poster.
In the flick, Carrey plays a man who becomes obsessed with a book that appears to be based on his life. Unfortunately, said book ends with a brutal murder that has yet to be committed in real life.
The film, which co-stars Virginia Madsen and Danny Huston, was directed by Joel Schumacher. Look for it in theaters Feb. 23, 2007.

Jim Carrey has always been one of my favorite actors and comedians. He does a lot of funny stuff, but I liked the movie "The Majestic". I rented it and watched it with a friend and we both agreed it was very different from what he usually does. "Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind" was also different. I can't wait for "The Number 23". It combines one of my favorite actors with a subject I find interesting. Human nature.

Love the poster~ It's about time this country recognizes, literally, some of the ugliness in this world and puts it out there among the GAP and Victoria's Secret ads. I hope we see this poster a lot.
Rose-colored glasses are a good thing to wear while catching the latest chick or Disney flick, but we movie goers are hungry for the heavier stuff like this. Stuff that shows what dangers are walking out among us, and that the human mind is quite possibly the most powerful weapon of them all.
Can't wait for this film. Carrey does creepy sooooo good. We've seen lots of his comedy creepy, like The Cable Guy, but it's about time we get to see that darker creepy we all know is deep down in that brilliant mind of his.
Yum.
