Hold the 'Fone

I never saw the original 'Van Wilder' (I know, shame on me, "It's the 'Citizen Kane' of Ryan Reynolds movies") but I hear it's the funniest 'National Lampoon' comedy since 1989 (scratch that -- the only funny 'National Lampoon' comedy since 1989). Word is it also features the most memorable cannoli scene in the history of modern cinema.

Having not seen the first, I've avoided its new sequel 'The Rise of Taj' because, let's face it, I'd be totally lost. But it is nice to see 'Harold & Kumar' star Kal Penn get some shine in the lead role as Taj Mahal Badalandabad (no relation to 'Gosford Park' and 'For Your Consideration' star Bob Badalandabad ).
