Subject: Can't Get Enough Spring...
Time: 10:00:00 AM EDT
Author:  sunflowerkat321

These are a few photos that I took early Monday morning before the house closing in Allentown.  They are from one of the wonderful parks in the area. This particular park is near the house we rented when we were first married.  My neighbor and I would walk our dogs down here almost daily and let them romp in the river.  I will always have fond memories of this place.

I have photographed and posted this willow tree in previous years.  I just love the shape of this particular tree.  Somehow, in spring, I always find myself back at this very same spot.

In the past, I have also tried to capture the riot of pink blossoms,  I decided I've always stood too far back and tried to get to much,  So this year, I went for a different approach.

Last but not least....the magnolias.  I LOVE these trees.  My mother has one in her yard that has been there ever since I was  little girl.  Every year, it would bloom so beautifully and every year, that signalled that we'd have one more overnight freeze.  It was inevitable.  Since I've moved east, it seems that the magnolias are just enough later that the blooms are spared.  It wasn't until I got hooked on macro that I discovered the fascinating inner beauty of the bloom.

Beautiful!  I saw a purple tree yesterday that took my breath away.  I pulled my car over and tried to take several pics of it from my seat...I was nervous about someone running outside and yelling at me.  While the tree was gorgeous the fence had lots of "KEEP OUT"  "BEWARE OF DOG" signs so I wasn't sure these people would be friendly or like me shooting pics of their home.  I still need to load them onto my computer and see if I got a decent one to post.  Love yours.

Amazing photos, Kat...  They're all three very different and all so very beautiful, each in it's own special way.

You inspire me, to open my eyes wider and to feel deeper.  Thank you.

    Love,
    Chelle

I missed your previous approach on the pink blossoms, but I can tell you this much...I like the up close and personal approach you used this go 'round.  I also know exactly what you are talking about when you say that you end up photographing some of the same subjects year after year.  I think that all photographers do that in an attempt to improve on previous attempts.
