There are two things that I once knew how to do but apparently have forgotten.
I can not recall how to add a picture to my sidebar.
Look at my sidebar.
Obviously I once knew how.........
I also can not for the life of me remember how to link.
Is that the right term for when you type in a word and other people can click on it and are magically transported there?
Maybe they were right when they warned me about destroying all those brain cells.
Can someone help me?

Hi Marti! It's possible that you didn't forget, but that the process has changed since you last tried to edit with pictures. The AOL tech people have been very busy rearranging our journal features for us... it's different, and now that I'm used to it, I kind of like the new process. Every photo you add from your computer is directly uploaded to your aol pictures shoebox file... it takes a few seconds, but once they are there, you don't have to worry about renaming them or moving them in your computer files. Or, you can add them to your aol pictures files, and retrieve them from there. Best bet is not be in a hurry when you want to add pictures... allow yourself some time because the uploading will take awhile, particularly with multiple pictures. I go to keyword (up on your browser) type in "pictures," upload any new ones you want on your sidebar. Then go click to edit your sidebar, click the camera icon once your in there then click AOL pictures, click on "small and then click the photos you want to add. That's it, close the pictures and space out your photos and type as usual.
For links, type your entry then bring up the journal or website you want to link to, highlight it in the browser, copy and then close it. Go back to the word(s) in your journal that you want to magically be a link, highlight and then click the little world icon at the top where you're adding the entry, a little box will pop up, click to paste in the box (the link you copied will appear) click ok and the word will become the link.
It's not nearly as confusing as it sounds, it's all very easy and takes just a second or two. Just print this comment and follow along :-)
