Feeling Mischievous
Wow - the old "how do I get my blog out there?" Journal is still here! Happened across it in Technorati... I must admit, the blog really did serve its intended purpose when I started my blog last year, as AOL Journals propagates through the various engines, etc., much faster than moveabletype. Or at least it did last year.

Recently I've been playing with MyBlogLog and StumbleUpon. MyBlogLog didn't impress me at first but I'm warming to them as they evolve. Tonight I added their new MySpace widget to my page to give it a try.

Moveable type contines to only randomly display for me in Technorati. Using this Journal to drive traffic has worked, but now (at least according to my Web stats) I'm getting even more traction from Google and Stumbled Upon, directly without the aid of this blog. I imagine Stumbled Upon's effect will lessen as they grow in depth and there are more sites to randomize.

The new front door was installed this afternoon. It's not painted the standard green or brown so it's kinda like looking directly at the sun, compared to the neighbor's doors.

Really glad tomorrow is recycling day. My doorstep was covered with boxes tonight - just about everything I ordered online (no catalogs!) arrived today. Six boxes at once.
