Jocelyns surgery was today

My girl was as sweet as could be before surgery and as cranky as could be after....lol

The nurse thought I was the Mom that made my day.

They told us she looked like an angel as she layed there and I had to agree.

She was happy as a clam on the way home and had a great day from that point on.

She had a little ear pain after but was given tylenol as soon as she was alert enough and had a great day.

Hopefully she has had her last ear infection.

Ok nighty nite.

I lost a friend today, he was a very special friend .

He was a resident where I work but he was so much more than that.

He always made sure you felt special.

He always made sure you knew what was happening around him, where he went, where he was going where he wanted to go, and what he ate at each meal that day.

He was concerned with your where abouts also, why didnt you come to work, whens your next day off, and what day will I see you.

He knew everyone by name , from the bank teller to the ladys at duncan donuts where he would get his stick jelly.

Pretty good for a blind man with MR.

He even got to my family , when is stacy ( my sister) gonna feed the chickens and when is she gonna get the eggs.

He sang Happy Birthday so beautifully to all my relatives on thier birthdays.

He would really confuse them when he asked how old they were and when told thier age he would say when were you born as if he were calculating it to see if they told the truth.

My sister Ruth was upset one year because he didnt call her...It was my day off.

He stole the heart of everyone he came in contact with and took a piece of our hearts with him.

May there be all the diet peanutbutter cookies and diet coke you want up in Heaven

Rain rain go away...come back on a work day!

Took Jocelyn to get her bangs trimed at the salon today...this time she squirmed and wiggled...lol

She also got 3 lollipops off Lisa , my cousin  who was also the hair dresser.

She showed off a bit running around and trying to look cute as she looked through the clear red chairs smiling.

It dont take much for her to look cute!

Just my opinion ...lol

We went to the country store where she found a white persian webkinz kitty...yes I bought it.

Then she asked for an apple so to the food store we went.

My sister told me Jocelyn said f **k clear as a bell the other day but today she was saying stuck and it sounded very close.

Who knows...lol

Im sure even swearing she was cute.

She continues to wrestle with Jack my sisters new puppy...hes a cocker spaniel...if he is lucky he will see his adult life as a dog...lol

Well Im sure he will live but he may be short 1 leg or eye or ear.

Im making mac and cheese for dinner so I better get to it.

Every thing went great today, Eric has physical custody of his daughter and the fun begins...lol

This is on our porch there is a coffee table and a tiny little chair for her and a TV.

She decided the couch looked better today.

We call it Jocelyns porch of fun, its where she does all her creative coloring and drawing.

She spent some time out there with her mom this weekend too.

Hey all ,I have been soooo missing in action lately.

Ive had a lot of vacation time and I guess I was vacationing here too.

Things are going good here on my side of the woods.

My son is going to court tuesday as well as myself over custody of my granddaughter.

We pray all goes smoothly and I am sure it will.

Its just temp. custody till all the paper work goes through.

We havnt done her surgery for her tubes yet... I have to call about a date on that.

They were supose to call back with a confirm but havnt yet.

The hardest part will be trying to explain to a two year old that she cant have anything to eat or drink in the morning.

Ok nothing much to say today but who knows , the day is young.

What a wonderful Jocelyn day we had!

We all went to the beach for the day, by all I mean myself , my sister Ruth, my niece Sara, Eric and Jocelyn.

She was a fish all day, In and out In and out.

Her butt looked like a beach ball after her diaper took on all the water, but Nana kept coming to the rescue and squeasing it out as we exited the water.

It all worked out, kind of wished I could squease my butt out and have it look smaller.

Then it all came to a squeasing screaming halt as my sister hollard and the people on the beach stared... at least the few that heard her .

" Theres shit coming out stop squeasing!"

I  had this girl on my hip now mind you.

Yup there was shit all right and we decided poop might be a better word...oops too late.

I looked at Jocelyn and I looked at my sister in dis belief...heck I hadnt felt anything.

I then looked at my hand ...nothing....ahhhh shes kidding.

Nope, I looked down into the water and right infront of my foot was the evidence...poop.

God was with me because I had not a drop of it on me, however he wasnt with Eric exactly because he stepped out of the mens room in the nick of time and changed her slimy loosy goosy sqeased doopy.

He thanked me too!

Ah this is the life!
