Subject: Retired Editorial Writers WRITE ON!

Writing editorials for newspapers was so much fun, I had to resurrect my column. We older writers see so many new ideas and concepts flashing through the pages of the press and from TV commentary that we have little choice but to step in and be heard. Mostly, we see ideas lost in the field of battle for readers attention. We resurrect ideas such as the price of freedom, saving our grandchildren from scoundrels and reminding readers, "There is nothing new under the sun."
This will be an interesting column. It will be far ranging; from politics to music; what's up front to behind the scenes; revelations to secrets witheld; verse to poetry; research and opinions; occasionally something less than perfect.
Please feel free to comment but use good taste and do not embarrass our readers. A good comment has a built in editor (up front) just like most newspapers. We shall endeavor to inform without harm.
