Feeling Happy
Hearing Spring is Bustin Out All Over...........
If You're Feeling Depressed, Spring is Right Around the Corner!
Last year I looked out on the front yard and decided the old garden (unattended) needed to be transformed into a thing of beauty. I did my thing and as fall approached we had nine Rose bushes, seven Hibiscus, Butterfly Ginger, Lantanas, Princess Flowers, Bourgainvilleas, Coleus, Porter's Weed, Fire Spike, Heather, and Mandavillias, etc.
Late in the fall I also created my new Orange Garden that had bright Orange Cannas, Yellow Cape Honeysuckle, Orange (berries) Pyrocantha, with a yellow blossoming Tababuia Tree. Earlier this year we added to the Orange Garden bronze and brown Iris bulbs and several bronze Canna Lily bulbs, looking forward to the Spring time.
Late last year we also made cuttings of the many and various Coleus plants that have such beautiful and variegated leaf designs. They now reside on the enclosed back porch awaiting direction and placement by the "gardener".
Today's Photo Journal is all about our trek around the big yard and looking at the progress of spring. Most will be back again this year. A few are doubtful. There will be far better pictures in a month or so but this is an appropriate beginning. If you return as the days go by, you will see very beautiful Roses of differing colors and magnificent Hibiscus variations in addition to all the others mentioned above. We anxiously await the beautiful yellow horn shaped Allamandas that blossom every day. If the Orange Marmalade do not return we will surely replace them.
We have every reason to believe that Spring is right around the corner.
