It Doesn't Get Any Better Than This! A Lovely Morning
Camera in hand,at 6:30 AM this morning, I began my walk. The great hawks were absent in the sky, possibly at church. I stopped to finish my coffee on the front porch. Curiosity got the best of me and I had to see how my winter cuttings were doing having transplanted nearly all of them yesterday. Finding a suitable location was a months long dilemma. But finally it all came together logically.
The Dwarf Alamandas were not coming back, nor were the Pentas near the front porch. I removed them, roots and all, and transplanted my Coleus cuttings in their place. I decided the Salvia hanging on the front porch should be moved to trees near the bird feeders.
My Persian Shield cutting found a home near the Confederate Rose Tree, and behind it I placed another species of Coleus. Nearby I placed yet another group of Coleus because they are magnificent plants with variegated leaf colorings.
I then went to the Rose garden to observe my NEW Peace Rose Tree and decide on placement. While there, I discovered two new Butterfly Ginger plant stems bursting forth from beneath the soil, making eight thus far.Next year there will be sixteen or more standing five feet high with white Orchid like flowers blooming daily.
At the Orange Garden, yesterday, Patricia and I happily discovered the new Bronze Cannas and Bromalaids popping through from bulbs and tubules along with the Brown and Bronze Iris I planted a few weeks ago. The Lilies potted on top of the gate post now have a second Lily growing beside the first, I am very proud of my plant selection atop the gate post. They should be quite beautiful.
Rose Bush No. 5 has six roses budding! The new Peace Rose Tree has four nearly ready to blossom. Last years Bougainvillia has several leafs sprouting at the base. I think the Tabebuia Tree has been lost over the winter.
There is more but it is time to turn attention to the pictures, several of which are very attractive. We endeavor to share our joy and happiness with the progress and God's great accomplishments.

By oversight I forgot to add her address to my Favorite Journal sites when I opened this new Journal. I will do that now. When Angela writes, the first thing I do is go there and read her brilliant commentary. Angela is an exceptionally fine young lady!
