New Blossoms in the Gardens
New Flowers In the Gardens
We see the results of the continuing drought here in N. Florida. The blossoms are smaller and perhaps fewer. But they are beautiful regardless.
Much weeding yet to be done. More work than I imagined. New plants to be placed and seeds to plant. The flowers are so nice I had to share them.
Today, I planted 3 previously potted Hibiscus saved over winter in the Greenhouse. Those left in the ground did not do as well. Four more yet to be positioned. My Greenhouse Butterfly Gingers are now planted by the porch steps at the Walkway. Their fragrance is fabulous. Six new Red Geraniums now reside at the Red Garden. Three new purple and white Day Lilies were planted along the fence near "Walter's Flower", which is a light purple. Twenty new Mixed Color Gladiolus were planted in the various gardens. Three new Red Bougainvilleas were planted with a fourth survivor at the East Garden. I have had a very busy day.
