Yes, Chuck Norris was born of March 10, 1940, in Ryan, Oklahoma.........and he was saying John McCain was too old to be president! Here is an ad he made for the late campaign of Mike Huckabee, who will thankfully not be our 44th president.

Norris is also a cult icon among soldiers in Iraq, some of whom probably watched "Missing in Action" one too many times before enlisting.

On a personal note, my late stepfather Donald Sullivan, a World War II veteran, was a fan of "Walker, Texas Ranger" and I must profess that I did enjoy "Lone Wolf McQuade" when I was a teenager back in 1984 (yes, movie fans- I know the movie actually came out in 1983, but I saw it on cable).

.............I hope that fact won't be used against should I ever decide to run for office!
