Feels ages since I played a Round Robin, nostalgic in itself. Recently, life has been filled with all the stuff of by gone and some up coming events. My Mom will have the birth of her first great-grandchild in the next month. She will be 85 within this month! Could the baby come on her birthday?
I was going to post this entry for Veterans' Day but I think this works for Nostalgia. Here is a link on the boat that landed our men, built in New Orleans. http://library.thinkquest.org/J0113143/index3.htm
Sorry if anyone gets a notice but I had to update the link to the Higgins Landing Craft. I put the wrong link in intially.
Please be sure to visit the other Round Robin entries for Nostalgia.

What a great birthday present that would be for your mom!
I, too, loved the clock picture, but the group of them is a wonderful reminder of what that generation suffered and sacrificed for my own and for the world.

Great work. Reminds me of our visit to the USS Lexington in Corpus Christi.

so I haven't been on the computer much. I am still attempting to work with my worker on constructing the addition over and around my kitchen and it is extremely difficult for me to do even light work. I am being referred to a Neurosurgeon but with my Medicaid Insurance doctors in Illinois have not been paid for a year. I am using my TENS electrical stimulation unit and going to physical therapy. If a Neurosurgeon can not see me there will be another course of treatment. I hope to get around to some journals this weekend.
