Happy Birthday!

I was so happy...last night Flat and his friend stopped in! Yes, he is indeed with the Pillsbury Doughboy (SHHH! Flat calls him "Half-Baked" behind his back) but they get along pretty good as traveling companions. I had a small birthday party for Flat and his friend.

First we sang and had cake, then Flat wanted to check the comments in his blog.

After that Flat and I had a long talk. He said he couldn't go back to being a bookmark. He loved the open road and wanted to travel more. I had anticipated this and while I was sad, I knew I had to set him free. And I did it in style. Happy Birthday!!

A brandy new Ferrari for my Bestest Flatest Friend!

He and Poppin' decided to take her for a test ride.

I'm sure if they had any, their hair would be blowin' in the wind! I couldn't wait for my turn to get a ride...I waited...and waited...

and they never did come back...Flat where ever you are, have a great birthday and be well and safe!

Doesn't "Too Ripe" = "Rotten," or am I too far removed from farm country to know the diff?
