Weekend Assignment #111: Two Out of Three : "
Weekend Assignment: Present three "facts" about yourself: Two of the facts true, and one of the facts false. Let people guess which "fact" is the fake one. Reveal the fake fact on Monday. You don't want to give away the fake fact too early, so be sure to make it sound plausible, next to the other two real facts.

Extra Credit: Can you lie with a straight face? Really?

Ok, here are three fishy facts about me. Guess which one is bull.

1. The largest fish I ever caught was a 13 inch bass.

2. I have caught catfish, but have never eaten catfish.

3. I once loaded a spear gun, intending to use it on a person not a fish.

Come back Monday to find out which is not true.

Extra credit: I can get away with small lies to my kids.

This was pretty interesting. People seem to make assumptions then deduct their answers from there.

First off, there are catfish in New Jersey! People seemed to assume that the catfish I caught, were the same catfish I didn't eat. I have eaten catfish, just not the ones I catch. I catch and release all fish. Another assumption, the bass I caught, I caught in NJ. Wrong. I caught it in Lake George, N.Y. Dan, for the record...the speargun thing, I did when I lived in Florida. Yes, Antonette. I may be sweet, but not when I feel my life is threatened.

So, #2 is the lie.
