Just to show ya...

A lot of people  that have never been to New Jersey, have the preconceived notion that it's a bunch of refinaries and highways, not to mention the murder and AIDS capital of the East Coast. So, I thought I'd post a few almost summer pictures of life around here in central NJ. See, it isn't all that bad...

Some geese I shot (with my camera) from my backyard.

I took this photo from the bridge, around the corner from my house. The small clearing of the lilypads to the right in the distance of the picture is behind my house.

My daughter boating.

And this is Lake Nelson, on the other side of the bridge. It's man-made and was originally created by the construction of a dam made of tombstones. Who's, I have no idea.

So, this is my little slice of nature 2 minutes from everything.

Well, NJ is the "Garden State" afterall...  I remember reading that on my ex's license plate..as he drove off.  I took pictures of the plates for precautionary reasons.  I had no idea NJ was the murder state of the East Coast..  Eeek..  My hometown, Santa Cruz, California was once known as the murder capital of the world back in the early 1970's so don't feel bad.  I used to have to catch my school bus on the same road this psycho killer guy picked up his hitchhikers.  Anyways, you have a beautiful backyard!  :)  Julie  P.S.  Find any dead bodies out there on the river?  Ha..just kidding...
