Calvinism and Capitalism: New Creation

Calvinism is new creation in Jesus Christ. It is not simply the general notion of new.

Just as we are born again for the kingdom of heaven and have eternal life now, we are given this gift in houses of clay in a corrupt world. While we are here, our lives, our government, our daily living is something that God does through us. Part of that is the new creation of material wealth for the temporal benefit of the just and the unjust.

I see a lot of non-creating words written in which the authors implicitly think to demonstrate an understanding of Calvinism which do nothing but demonstrate a complete lack of understanding God as He truly is and thus of reality. Such authors either are used of non-creating speech to speak the mere word Calvinism to imply a cold hearted wreaking ball of individual hopes or the word Capitalism as the same or as a supposed cure-all for poverty while being blind to the fact that the world is fallen and corrupt.

Poverty is a spiritual problem. It is not and never has been a material wealth problem. The spiritual problem is the invisible that has visible effects, just as the pandemic of drug abuse is a spiritual problem. Relieve the poor from the non-creating speech that oppresses them through their own mouth and as their own native tongue and wealth can do no other but follow.

The benefit to the world of our being non-metaphorical new creation, of having been birthed out of sin as non-creating speech and into Jesus Christ as Word of God/Creating Speech is that God newly creates through us many things to include technologies, jobs, and government. While the non-creating speech of sin tries to call what God does through us "genius" in order to seem to validate the free will lie, in fact it is God that does it. Period.

The Presidient has of late been on a spending spree that seems to be, as free willers would call it, "an irresponsible use of assets". In truth, there does appear to be a closed box which we have entered and it is called "the bank account". It has a door, bottom and sides and thus implies limitation. And free willers all have an agenda they are not aware of when they speak of scarcity: validating non-creation as validating supposed "free" will.

But in truth God creates when it seems there is no way out exactly as it seemed to us that there was no way out of our former lives prior to our own non-metaphorical new creation intoJesus Christ/Word of God/Creating Speech.

What God will do through all of us we will see. And we will praise Him no matter what it is because He will even do that through us to Himself. That isn't called having faith as 'earning heaven'. It is faith as done by God through us, persevering us to the 'end' and beyond. No merit. No awards. There is nothing for it. God is implacable that way.

Beyond smiles. Beyond saddness. Beyond the supposed bottom of the purse is God; is Love.

Isaiah 48:4-8 Because I knew that thou art obstinate, and thy neck is an iron sinew, and thy brow brass,  so I have long ago declared them to thee; before they came to pass I caused thee to hear them ; lest thou shouldest say, Mine idol hath done them, and my graven image, or my molten image hath commanded them.  Thou heardest, see all this; --and ye, will not ye declare it ? I have caused thee to hear new things from this time, and things hidden, and that thou knewest not:  they are created now, and not long ago; and before this day thou hast not heard them, lest thou shouldest say, Behold, I knew them.  Yea, thou heardest not, yea, thou knewest not, yea, from of old thine ear was not opened; for I knew that thou wouldest ever deal treacherously, and thou wast called a transgressor from the womb.

In the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen
