Hey Gaz and Phil.
I am bummed that I'm missing your wedding. I'd love to be there whooping it up, and in my world,Friday Thursday weddings are always the best
simply because I can tear it up like a freakin' lunatic and spend the
next two THREE days recuperating. Plus, it's England, and it'd be pretty
damn nice to actually have an excuse to drive on the wrong side of the
road for once.
Nonetheless, I do hope you have a wonderful ceremony tomorrow. I've been trying to get around to writing something in this journal Cin set up, but, to be perfectly honest, I never know what to say to people who are getting married. It's a foreign concept to this confirmed bachelor. Usually, it's just congratulations, and let's get sauced. If I have any advice to share, it's to simply keep love in your hearts and beer in your fridge, and never worry about the little things over which you have no control.
Aside from that, I do hope the day comes where we here in this country can shed our intolerant ways and allow people show their love and share their lives together in happiness without fear of judgment. America's got a long way to go; however, if tolerance is ever going to come to this nation, it's going to be as a result of the actions of brave couples such as Gaz and Phil who aren't afraid to show us all that they truly do belong together. I do envy you two for the courage your hearts possess.
Just make sure you live, love and be happy.
Oh! And Gaz? Don't forget to take out the trash.
-Dan
Update --Nope. I really don't know what day it is. That's what I get for trying to deal with things at these dreadful early-morning hours. Then again, in my defense, when it's Thursday here, there is a point in time were it will be Friday in England. So, at 6:00 PM CST, this post will make a hell of a lot more sense...
I hope...

I wanted to have this in GMT but the US version of "create a blog" only lists US time zones.

I agree the US has a long ways to opening up to the gay community. And I hope during my life time I see that, that everyone can let be and if you love someone leave them alone and let them be who they are not not what religious ppl want us to be. Yes, I said US. I too am Gay. and I am so upset that we got all these right wing christians telling how were Hell Bound and blah blah. I mean its like shut up and leave us alone.
