Excuse Me, Do I Know You?

We have a beautiful backyard that to me is paradise.  Nice big swimming pool, tons of wonderful plants, awesome patio furniture covered by a huge tent that we call the Taj Mahal, and a mister system.  During the summer we like to spend most of our time in the backyard.  We rarely use the kitchen stove instead we cook on the grill.  Not to get off the subject, but the other night I made bacon wrapped filets stuffed with gorgonzola cheese and fresh thyme.  Omg they were out of this world!  Ok, I do have a point to all of this backyard talk.  We have one major problem, FLIES!!  Do you know we have this issue?  It's because the neighbors behind us don't clean up the dog poo poo in their backyard.  We have fly fogger, fly strips, and fly swatters nothing is helping.  My sis was here visiting a few weeks ago and she called Animal Control to see what could be done.  They referred her to the Feces Control Department.  I had no idea such a department existed.  Are there that many people in my city not cleaning up after their pets?  Well there must be because my neighbors still have cleaned up the poo poo which tells me the feces people haven't been by to pay them a visit.  I hung up a fly strip at 11:30 am today it is now 1:30 pm and that sucker is full of flies.  I honestly think if you aren't going to take care of your animals then you really shouldn't have them.

  Those poor dogs. It's not healthy for them, either. What does the animal control think? The SPCA? The Humane Socety? Enough calls, and that whole crappy situation should be fixed up.

  Ewwww...my neighbors behind us have horses, and I really thought we'd have a problem with horseflies, but since we're on an acre, there is a little distance between us.  When I walk in the alley, not often, they shovel the manure out of their yard into the alley!!  Wonder if we have a Feces Department!!
