God's Gloves

Chillin'

"Come unto me, all ye that labour and
are heavy laden, and I will give you
rest. Take my yoke upon you, and
learn of me; for I am meek and lowly
in heart: and ye shall find rest unto
your souls. For my yoke is easy, and
my burden is light."

Matthew 11: 28-30
King James Version

The last two days the arthritis in my
hands has made it very painful to
type. This morning, I was going to go
soak my hands in hot water, as hot as
I could stand, then Jesus gave me an
idea. He said to put on my gloves and
wear them while it hurts. Within five
minutes of putting on the gloves, the
pain stopped. I am wearing them as I
type this, and my hands are not hurting.

Is your heart broken and you don't
think you can go another day with this
devastating pain? Jesus is calling you
to come to Him. He is waiting with
His Gloves of Love and Rest to warm
your heart. Allow Jesus to put His
Gloves on your heart and soul.

You don't have to face the turmoil and
heartache of this life by yourself.
Jesus wants to Protect and Comfort
you, but He won't force Himself on
you. You have to be the one to go to
Him, and ask Him for help.

Give all your heartaches to Jesus and
you will experience a Peace and Joy
that you have never known. Do you
need His Gloves of Peace and Rest
today? If so, please don't wait. Go to
Him now and crawl up on His Lap
and hold out your hands to Him.

Hello God, I called tonight

To talk a little while

I need a friend who'll listen

To my anxiety and trial.

You see, I can't quite make it

Through a day just on my own...

I need your love to guide me,

So I'll never feel alone.

I want to ask you please to keep,

My family safe and sound.

Come and fill their lives with confidence

For whatever fate they're bound.

Give me faith, dear God, to face

Each hour throughout the day,

And not to worry over things

I can't change in any way.

I thank you God, for being home

And listening to my call,

For giving me such good advice

When I stumble and fall.

Your number, God, is the only one

That answers every time.

I never get a busy signal,

Never had to pay a dime.

So thank you, God, for listening

To my troubles and my sorrow.

Good night, God, I love You, too,

And I'll call again tomorrow

Need

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:11-13

Prayers are asked for:

Those who are suffering and need strength.

For alleviation of an overwhelming feeling.

Answers to questions being asked.

Spiritual healing.

An end to distention within God's church in South Carolina.

Love for those who are in need.  The right love.  First to recognize that true love is received from Our Lord.  He is faithful, in deed.

Relief from pain.  Physical, emotional or spiritual.

Peace in God's world

The ability to defeat the enemy.

"Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him."  Proverbs 30:5  And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.  Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel, For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.  Ephesians 6:15-20

Food, whether it be nutritional or spiritual. All are in need.

Praying that your life is a light unto our Lord.

Lord, I pray these requests in the name of your wonderful Son, Jesus Christ.  Who you sent to and for us.  Thank you.  Amen

I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand the wonderful future he has promised to those he called. I want you to realize what a rich and glorious inheritance he has given to his people.

I pray that you will begin to understand the incredible greatness of his power for us who believe him.
Ephesians 1:18-19

I Surrender All

Happy

I Surrender All ~~ Newsboys

I surrender all to the promises you

made and I will give it all to the maker of the day.

No one knows your heart and no one knows your fears when no one solves the mysteries or even wipes away the tears.

I surrender all to the promises you made and I will give it all to the maker of the day.

Can you hear the sound of laughter from the other side of life?
There are days when I feel like a stranger sometimes.
Tell me, are there any other fools like me?

I surrender all to the promises you made and I will give it all o the maker of the day.

Is reliance on another world as a great effect on this world his conscience of another world has a great effect on grace recollection

He doesn't love us 'cause of who we are.
He only loves us 'cause of who he is.
He doesn't love us 'cause of who we are.
He only loves us 'cause of who he is.

I surrender all
(he doesn't love us 'cause of who we are)
to the promises you made
(he only loves 'cause of who he is)
and i will give it all
(he doesn't love us 'cause of who we are)
to the maker of the day!

JUST PRAY

Happy

Praying for those we love is easy.  It comes naturally.  I continue to do it all the time.

Praying for those who cause you harm or difficulty is not so easy.  This is the time when your prayers are needed the most.

Please pray for those who are ill and in need this holiday season.

Pray for someone who has harmed you.

Pray for peace on earth and good will towards man.

Just pray!

LET US ALL PRAY

Hopeful

For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers.  Romans 1:9

Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer.  Romans 12:12

During the upcoming Holiday Season our minds are probably focused on what we will be receiving or giving this year.  Most of the time we lose track of what this holiday really stands for.

For me considering I am a Christian I am trying to focus on the wonder of  the Birth of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Whom God sent down to earth to save us and bare the burden of our sins.

Maybe your beliefs bring you to a different aspect.  The wonder and amazement of God and the recalling the struggle for religious freedom and  how the Maccabees found a single bottle of oil, which normally would have lasted only one night. However, by a miracle, the one bottle of oil lasted eight nights, until new oil, fit for Temple use, could be produced.

What ever brings you to this season with thanksgiving in your hearts we still need to focus on the needs of those who are suffering.

I am asking you, during this season of miracles, to pray for others.

Aside from those in your daily prayer life please..........

Pray for God's intervention in the life of those who are ill and are in need of healing. God is the Great Physician and is able to heal all forms of suffering.

Pray for those in need of sustance.  God is able to supply all of our needs. He is even gracious enough to provide us with our wants as well.

Pray for your neighbors. Our Lord knows their needs.

Life has been very unpredictable for those who have felt the rath of hurricanes, floods and famine.  Pray for strength and stability in their lives.  Our Lord is capable of providing this and so much more.

As one of my favorite Christmas songs recite.........

When Christ was born of Mary free,
In Bethlehem in that fair city,
Angels sung e'er with mirth and glee,

In excelsis gloria,
In excelsis gloria,
In excelsis gloria,
In excelsis gloria.

Herdsmen beheld these angels bright-
To them appeared with great light,
And said, "God's son is born this night."

This King is come to save His kind,
In the Scripture as we find;
Therefore this song we have in mind:

Then, dear Lord, for Thy great grace,
Grant us the bliss to see Thy face,
Where we may sing to Thy solace:

I am not as diligent in writing in this journal as I should be.  I have been experiencing a lot of stuff.  Brain fog, horrible pain and depression.  I'm just not up to writing.  But, there are so many that need prayers.  So here goes........

Please pray for.....

Krissy's John.  Read her journal at ......Update on John

Val needs our prayers.  Val is having difficulty with her brain shunt.  There is a very good possibility that it will need to be replaced.  Please read her journal too........  My Appointment and Some Clues...

Considering it's Lupus Awareness Month I am asking for prayers for all those who are ignorant about Lupus.  Especially for the medical community who ignorant regarding the pain and suffering that goes along with it.  I pray that there is more insight and education about Invisible Illnesses.  I keep saying that the next time I need to go to the hospital for pain maybe I should throw myself down the stairs and then I can go to the ER with something they can see.  (I'm really not going to do that, don't worry.)  It's just that it is very frustrating being treated like you are crying for no reason.  To be treated as if your pain is all in your head.  Please pray that this mindset is ended.

Prayers for all my online friends who are suffering.  Physically, emotionally or spiritually.  Only our prayers can help.
