Yay for Brian Cashman staying with the Yankees. I really would have hated to see him go, Cash is a great GM. Larry Bowa as third-base coach is a good move I guess, but finding a good pitching coach and bench coach. I'm torn about the thought of Lou Pinella as bench coach... Lou's a great manager and is a great mind, but I don't know how well he would mix with Torre.
Anyway, I was pretty shocked to see that Wimmer got the boot from BDR. I really think that Skinner will be there, that's the earliest reaction I have. We'll see what comes out in the next few days.
