I have been watching AI since it's 1st season.  I was happy when Kelly won, now..uggg! Fame has gotten to her head, she tries to dismiss anything related to AI, and you know what little girl, if it weren't for AI you would still be asking *can I get you a refill*? I still think Clay should have won, yeh, ok try to get out of the real reason why he didn't...the phone lines where rigged!! Fantasia who?? That was the worste season for AI!! Last season was far by the best! I am with the guy that was screaming and his wife thought he cut off his thumb!! We all had the same reaction in my house!! I thought it was going to come down to BO, Constantine and Carrie in the final three.  I was on the fence with voting for the winner, but in my own opinion, I think Bo himself made the ultimate decision, seems his heart wasnt into the final songs, he came as far as he wanted, he already had a band, I think he GAVE IT UP himself by singing crappy, so Carrie could take the spotlight, and WOW! Did her lounges pump out every word of those two final songs!!! I could feel the passion through the TV.  What's this year hold for talent?? If they keep putting people like the *cowboy* through to the next round, we won't have much to vote for!! Bah!!

I can't stand American Idol. The music sucks. The singers are barely alright. I even remember one year when they dissed this white girl with an army uniform on. She had all these medals...lol...but when she told them what they were for...they were for silly things....and then she would say that she wasn't really good at them though........

But yo, when she sang, her pitch was perfect, plus, she had amazing confidence to carry herself with... I mean they "all" said they didn't like her, and she was like .."wait, wait, wait" and sang another hot lick, and they still was like,,, Nahhh, you don't got what it takes, your not good at this either.....

Something is really strange about that show. I think they channelled her and tried to defeat her spirits... I hope it didn't work....

P.S. This was a few years back

I like watching American Idol every season, but I skip past that audition overkill.  I'm more into the COMPETITION ITSELF! If they would cut those first three weeks off, they could finish the season up in April instead of having us wait until May 23 or 24th for sweeps. They just want to goof around and milk the competition and weeks for what it's worth.  I like watching the show to see new talent and if I'll get the winner's debut album six to 12 months from now.  Or the runners' up albums.
I've already gotten albums by past contestants Jasmine Trias and George Huff. Both of their albums sound very good, even if they finished lower in the competition. Jasmine's album is so catchy. And Huff's gospel album is wonderful.  So even the lower ranked people have just as good efforts as the Kellys, Rubens, Fantasias, Carries and others.

I haven't spent a lot of time watching it since Clay Aiken was runner-up.  I fell in love with Clay and just HAD to watch him.  What a VOICE that man has!
