CoolerHeads Prevail

YouTube has made it possible for us to engage in one of our very favorite entertainment activites: watching PETA ads. (It's not like that--we're anti-Kentucky-fried-cruelty!) Having spent the better part of an hour doing this, we have a question for you: which model is better at saving baby seals (or chickens)?

DishUpontheStars: Yeah but points off for HMM for her accent... the whole time I was trying to figure out if she's British, Scottish or Irish.
OlYellaCerebella: I'm going with Pam on this one. She's so much more cuddly.

  It's so very sad how many people on this board are OK with how these animals were murdered for their fur. We really have come to be a sad world. Maybe if you put yourselves in their places you'd feel a little different. Didn't you see that poor animal that blinked his eyes that was still alive after he had his skin ripped off his body! I know alot of us like to eat meat including me. But these animals need to be killed instantly and not tortured until they die! I really don't know, how any one with a heart could do what their doing to these poor animals. It just shows you what greed has come too.

  First of all don't give me the "humanity has gotten this far by eating animals" bullshyt.  We have grown into a civilized society.  People back then used to kill animals and put every bone and piece of their body to some use.
  
  Now we are killing chickens to make chicken mc nuggets for fat Americans and killing animals just for their fur alone because rich people like it.
  
  Guess what wear faux fur and stop eating mc donalds you lazy fat cows!!! NO excuse, shame on you!!!

  Heather  (Very Rich)
  Or the millions of people that rely on meat for food, and jobs  (regular folks like us that live off paychecks)  X
  
  If you had to choose, you would save?
  Chickens  (There are millions of chickens in the world)
  Furry Animals  (You do what you gotta do to feed your family, the seal hunt makes millions for their village)
  Animals that are endangered ie tigers, pandas, California Condors, etc  X

  for PETA to stand for everything you believe in because you're a vegetarian is like saying 'i can't think for myself.'      peta believes that all animals should be on their own.   no more pets, no more friends who are different species, unless you can befriend a wild animal.     no... no you can't.

  humanity would NOT have gotten this far without eating animals and using their skins for clothing. and we still do to this day. sure, it's an ugly job, but we're waaaaaaaaaaay better off doing it the way we do NOW versus before we figured out machines make the job a whole lot easier and more sanitary.
  
  has anyone else noticed how PETA ppl tend to live in over populated cities they refuse to move out of? they slam farmers in america who FEED THE WORLD, and would rather DESTROY someone's personal property, then actually get out there and save some animals, own a farm, etc.
  
  i DARE PETA to come out to the midwest, where MOST of the farms that they believe are so damned cruel to animals and see why the do what they do and who they do it for. you can be a vegan, vegie head all you want to, but it won't stop the fact that ppl SHOULD and DO live off animals for good reason. we'd be starving and naked if we didn't.
  
  and if we didn't kill animals for food and their skins, we'd be OVER RUN with the bastards. ppl who live in the suburbs and rural areas can tell you all about that. it sucks! so to my fellow anti PETA ppl, keep doing what you're doing! they CANNOT and WILL NOT stop us!
