Paramount Makes Stupid Decisions
GirlGoneLeBron: Paramount wants to make Mission: Impossible IV, without Tom Cruise.
GirlGoneGrady: Who would play Ethan Hunt?
GirlGoneLeBron: No one. It would be a new character played by Brad Pitt, and Paramount would make him the highest paid actor in Hollywood.
Although Brad Pitt played an assassin in Mr. and Mrs. Smith, can he replace Tom
Cruise in Mission: Impossible? (ZUMA Press)
GirlGoneGrady: Oh gross. How can you have a M:I movie without Ethan Hunt?
GirlGoneLeBron: It’s like having a James Bond movie without James Bond.
GirlGoneGrady: Why don’t they just have Brad play Ethan Hunt,
GirlGoneLeBron: Yeah, changing actors doesn't seem to hurt all the Bond movies.
GirlGoneGrady: Tom Cruise may be weird. Really weird.
GirlGoneGrady: But he’s certainly more of a box office draw than Brad Pitt.
GirlGoneLeBron: True. Brad’s average is $64 million and Tom’s is $99 million.
GirlGoneGrady: Plus Tom’s highest grossing movie beats Brad’s highest grossing movie by a lot.
GirlGoneLeBron: You’re right. War of the Worlds made $234 million and Mr. and Mrs Smith made $186 million.
GirlGoneGrady: I guess if the choices are a crazy Scientologist or an adulterer the studios chose the adulterer.

Going back to an earlier statment, Mark Wahlberg would be AWESOME! Despite his past in his teens as a mediocre rapper, he grew up to be a great actor! He's got the body and the talent, and the coveted 3rd nipple, so why not?
As for Brad, Angie, and Jen... I'm tired of hearing about it. If it is true that she didn't want a baby, so what? Isn't that her right? Isn't that her body? And also, yes she DID want a baby. She and Brad used to buy baby funiture for their house, and set it up in a nursery that they called "the room", so you are all wrong!! Besides, IF it were true that she didn't want a baby (and it's not) and he went with A.J. because she would give him a kid, it just proves that he didn't love J.A. and the marriage wouldn't have worked out, kid or no kid.
Anyways, people should stop being so dern hateful. I don't agree with the Scientology as I too am a Christian, but it's not for me to decide what people should do, and who/what they should worship. I don't think anything is wrong with Tom Cruise as an actor, but I've not watched a movie of his since M.I. (the first one) came out on VHS.
Brad Pitt as an actor? I've not seen many movies of his. I saw Oceans Eleven, Seven, and some movie he was in and got some woman preggos, but not a WHOLE lot of his mainstream work. Maybe he'd do good, maybe he wouldn't, but we won't know that unless it happens. I know some of you would say "Where have YOU been in the last 10 years??" Simple answer: I've been living my life, and was not too mesmerized or impressed with Mr. Pitt. I think he's simply overrated, and actors aren't my bag anyways. I'm more into musicians.. and Hard Rock musicians at that.
I'm still all for Mark Wahlberg doing the movie if this is at all true. Give the dude a shot, he's awesome!!! -
Get someone NEW!!!! THey are both SO overexposed I am sick of seeing EITHER of them (or Angelina, Paris, Lindsey, Jessica....the list goes on). I think Wentworth Miller (prison break) or another new aspiring actor should get in there because he has TALENT....or in Miller's case, soooooo hot! (OK, I am biased, but you get the point- we see enough of Brad and Tom in the tabloids- no more movies!) I think neither of them are really awesome actors.

personally i like Pitt as an actor more than Cruise. allways have. the few Cruise movies that i like are really cause of the supporting cast(ie Jamie Foxx, Cuba Gooding, hell even Dakota Fanning). Pitt to me makes movies better in his own way.

Not a big Tom fan, since his abrupt divorce & bad treatment of Nicole. Can't say that, open adulterous behavior from Brad would endear him to me or make me a bigger fan. Paramount should tell Tom to shut up and keep MI the same.
