GirlGoneGrady: Are you serious? Rachael must be doing something right to have Martha “I’ve been to prison” Stewart scared.
GirlGoneLeBron: She must be worried that Rachael is going to take her place as the ruler of all things domestic and steal her K-Mart product line deal.
GirlGoneGrady: Ms. Ray is giving Ms. Stewart a run for her money in that department.
GirlGoneLeBron: Plus Rachael is younger.
GirlGoneGrady: Martha will have to spend another few months in prison for the public to start paying attention to her again.

Who cares there are more important things in life to worry about......Like how to feed the hungry here in AMERICA.......Let them both cook for them and RR give your 40 dollars a day to a hungry person who really needs it........otherwise i think they both are good theres no comparsion there.One cooks one way the other cooks her way who really cares I Cook my way and everyone That eats what I cook thinks im better then both of them...........

I think it is downright mean to choose an unflattering picture, out of all those which would show a smiling, attractive looking, and happy, Martha Stewart, for this segment. I doubt the multi-talented, Lady Martha would be ''afraid'' of ANY OTHER ''COOK''. SHE KNOWS SHE CAN NOT ONLY "DO IT WELL'' IN THE KITCHEN, SHE HAS A GREAT NUMBER OF OTHER TALENTS, FOR A WELL ROUNDED BLEND OF HOME ENTERTAINING AND HOME BEAUTIFICATION IDEAS TO OFFER. Anyone in her position would, however, want to ''complement'' what others are doing on TV so as not to ''go head to head'' with the ''same show''. It would be like not wanting to wear the same ''dress'' to a party as one of your friends. I like Rachael Ray, and think her food ideas are good, but I will never give up watching Martha. I always loved her segments filmed on her ''farm'' showing how to ''do it from scratch'', and her ''over the top'' cooking has shown me that I can be a true CHEF in my own home, and not just feel like I am merely a ''good cook''. What is the point of trying to invent a controversy or competitive war between two individuals in the same line of work?

After a long, hard day at work, the last thing I want to do is to spend a lot of time in the kitchen making a meal that takes a lot of time. Rachael's 30 Minute recipes are just the ticket if you work full-time and want to get a good meal on the table quickly. Rachael also makes no secret that she is not a chef, that she is just someone who likes to cook. She's also more of a "real person" who just happened to be in the right place at the right time, and is someone that people can relate to.
The recipes of Martha's I have used in the past were good, but I have found that I need a lot of time to cook them. I have learned a lot from her as well. Also, Martha just doesn't seem like a "real person" to me; not someone that people can relate to easily. How can ANYONE do all that she claims to do in the course of a day? And, it took serving time in jail to "humble" her a bit.

I am a bit older than some of the bloggers , at least it sounds like I might be. They both are very entertaining to watch. I don't really make the receipes but love to watch others do it.
As for Martha sending someone to check out the competition, well-any smart business person would do the same. All the stores and other companies do it. I know because I used to be one of the ones they sent out. lol I really don't think either one has anything to worry about as they are different but both very good.
