Sitcoms: So Easy, Even A Caveman Can Do It

FatManhattan: I've been wracking my brains trying to think of other advertisement characters-turned-"entertainment" characters and all I can come up with is Ernest, that hillbilly pitchman for Sprite. Or was it 7-Up?

LoboGordo: Oh, man ... the "Hey, Vern!" guy? He was awesome!

FatManhattan: Yeah, what a body of work. 'Ernest Goes to Camp'  and  'Splash Mountain' ...

LoboGordo: ... ''Hey, Vern, It's Ernest!'' ...

FatManhattan: ... 'Ernest Saves Christmas' ...

LoboGordo: ... 'Ernest Scared Stupid' ...

FatManhattan: ... 'Ernest Rides Again' ...

LoboGordo: ... 'Ernest Goes to School' and 'Africa' ...

FatManhattan: ... 'Ernest in the Army' ...

LoboGordo: This caveman thing should be great.

    to DotBo --- The name of the show was actually "It's About Time", same as the song. "My Favorite Martian" was a totally different show. Eh gauds, we're showing our ages!  Lol   Again while I am here - KEEP the original cavemen to be on the show!!  You can't replace genius with something/someone " artificial~!! Have a great day~

    I don't see what is so funny about this commercial. The cavemen are so friggin stupid. Everytime it comes on, I change it. It's just as stupid as head on and the newly updated head on commercials. Oh and let's not forget the stupid slowskies'. I can't stand any of these commercials. they all SUCK!!!!

    The Geico Gekko. Now there's a lovable character to build a show around; complete with London East End accent and everything.

    Apparently, not everyone 'gets' the subtle, ironic humor of the cavemen.  I think it is hilarious and would make a great show.  Personally, I am done with  "reality" show concepts who recruit morons who just want a shot at 15 minutes of fame, though they don't derserve any at all.  Give me scripted TV any day.
