Maggie Gyllenhaal will fit nicely into Katie Holmess old Rachel Dawes role.

  Elisabeth Shue WAS NOT in the first Back to the future movie.  She replaced the girl who originally played the role. Claudia Wells. who had to drop out because her Mother was diagnosed with Cancer. So Elisabeth Shue took over the role of Jennifer, Marty's girlfriend.
  
  As for Katie Holmes, I have no idea what happened to this girl. She had such
  promise once. I'm glad Maggie Gyllenhaal has taken over the role although I
  don't really see much need for the character. Hey Tom Cruise! Give Katie Holmes
  back her sanity already.

  Thank GOD!!!!  Finally, a real actress for this role!!  Don't know who told Katie Holmes she could act... boy, were they wrong or what??? And now the 14 yr. old looking Katie has really messed up.... "marrying Tom Cruise"??? Now, that's just plain pitiful... GET A LIFE, KATIE... hopefully, away from Cruise & Show Business because you just DO NOT cut it, sorry!!!

  ssavage - wrong..claudia wells (who??) played jennifer parker in the first movie, shue replaced her in the sequels.

  Elizabeth Shue was in the First Back to the future flick.  When sequel time came, she was replaced!!
