GirlGoneLeBron: Simon Cowell will quit Idol if Sanjaya wins.

Sanjaya's presence in the top 12 has baffled everyone, including

GirlGoneGrady: Uggh Sanjaya is awful.
GirlGoneLeBron: Ohh be nice, he’s just a kid.
GirlGoneGrady: I know, but he can’t sing. He’s worse than Kevin Covais.
GirlGoneLeBron: Haha. Well I’d be sad to Simon go. So I hope Sanjaya doesn’t win.
GirlGoneGrady: If Vote for the Worst has their way, he will.

Pardon, AMERICAN.

I know most people think Simon is an ass, but, I appreciate his honesty. Give him a break, he is British. They all hate America.

Sanjayah is gone now, but until AI changes the way votes are cast, it won't belong before another "Howard Stern" stunt is pulled-making AI a laughing stock. I don't blame Cowell for wanting to quit. How can it be fair when hundreds and thousands of votes are cast by the one person for one idol? Dancing With The Stars and Nashville Star have limited, more sane voting.

Now that Sanjaya is gone, I dont think I will even watch the remaining "regular" American Idol shows. I don't really care for the remaining contestants much I think they are kinda boring. Maybe only if they have guest singers like Martina McBride, Gwen Stefani, Annie Lennox, Carrie Underwood... In response to the person who stated Simon always tells the truth, there is no way for that person to know that. Most of what they state on that show are opinions, not facts, so there is no truth or false value to much of what they say. For example, when Simon told Sanjaya he was much better than his sister that may have been Simon's opinion at the time but there is no way for him to accurately evaluate who actually is the technically better singer without putting them thru a time consuming battery of tests. Furthermore, what does better mean in that context anyway? Simon frequently uses generic terms but rarely (if ever) clearly defines what they mean. I personally thought based on their 1st auditions, Sanjaya and Shyamali were about equal vocally but Shyamali had more confidence. I think it is a real shame that they both didn't make it. Maybe she will be back next season. I think all 3 judges need to brush up on their technical skills to give a more technical evaluation. I really hate that term "pitchy" what does that mean? I think it is a poor choice of terms. Simon seems somewhat incompetent when judging some genres such as country. When do you ever hear him rattle off a bunch of established artists names as comparisons for AI singers? I think he needs to do a lot more research before someone like me considers him a "real" judge. I would actually like to see him quit because I am not impressed with his skills as a judge. I think any judge that is not a singer themselves cannot be a good judge of singer because they don't really understand the technical aspects of vo
