Idol Top 8: Who Had a Bad Day and Has to Go Home?

In an unanimous decision, The Cooler predicts that Phil Stacey will be sent packing by Idol viewers on tonight's show. However, we didn't get it right last time and unfortunately this year American seems intent on ruining the integrity of the show by voting off more talented singers before other, less vocally blessed contestants.

    For Sanjaya to be in the running goes to show you the greed of Hollywood! I don't watch it any more. Not a vocal contest so much as it is a popularity contest!

Melinda Doolittle:  In reply to "The Girls" email, castigating Melinda for being too humble, etc.  Melinda is only humble when she is not singing.  She exudes confidence when she is singing and rightly so--she is the best.  There are enough no talent, star-wannabees who exhibit enough boastful, bravado to last us all a lifetime.  Melinda, you're just right.  Desert Fox.
