The Onion's American Voices | 9/11 Film
Every day, The Onion hits the streets and asks people to weigh-in on the most pressing issues facing the country. We'll be serving it up to you every day, so keep coming back.
United 93, a film about the hijacked United flight that crashed in a Pennsylvania field on Sept. 11, 2001, will make its debut at the Tribeca Film Festival on April 25th. What do you think?
"This film will be a touching tribute to the media exploitation of Sept. 11."
Andy McLaglen,
Operator

I don't approve of this movie at all...........it is using September 11 just to make money for a few...........while the victims families have to hear and see the horror over again. Even if they don't go to see the film they will have scenes shown on the television news and all kind of TV shows. which the victims children will see. There will be pictures in the paper, especially the "scandel sheets" which, perhaps, the children of these victims may see. IT'S JUST A HORRIFIC THING TO DO FOR "MONEY?!!

Well I feel that I myself would have trouble watching these movies
after seeing the terrible pictures we already had to see on the day of 911. I still tremble to think of what happened let alone watch it over again! If I had Family That had Died in the 911 Attack I know I would find it very hard to look at these pictures over and over.We need some movies that will lift the spirts of people instead of make them feel much more saddened by the past tradgadies. -
I think it's a shame for the media (whatever form) is causing the survivors to have to relive that terrible day.

An independent investigation of the circumstances surrounding the stupendous failure of our multi trillion dollar military is long overdue.
The most preposterous "conspiracy theory" is that, SOMEHOW, 19 guys made chimps of the US military. An episode of the "Three Stooges" runs about 20 minutes; the "hijackers" flummoxed the first rate, top shelf defenders of our nation for about five times as long before something hit the Pentagon.
So far, we have had no investigations surrounding this abject failure.
Instead, we have had a strange reluctance to determine responsibility for the disaster.
I do not believe the tripe offered up by this administration regarding the circumstances of the attack. There are literally dozens of what we may euphemistically label "contradictions" in the party line.
Most people would label these "contradictions" lies.
Is ANYONE surprised?

However, we should put an end to the exploitation of these tragic events. The memories will
never go away, we don't need to be reminded time and time again.
