Info Junkie | Keith Donohue Conquers the Internet

There internetweb is far too vast and complicated for us to cover it entirely (though we do manage to check out 97%). So, from time to time we ask very smart and talented people to help us. This week, author Keith Donohue, has agreed -- under threats of violence -- to give us a hand. Keith is the author of an amazing new novel, The Stolen Child. So, after checking out his suggested reading, we suggest you check out his novel (which is already getting great reviews and climbing up the Amazon sales list).

Here are a few links from Keith today. Enjoy:

-
Doppelganger has released the first Virtual nightclub for teens -- The Lounge featuring the Pussycat Dolls.  Looks like you can IM while roleplaying and listening to a virtual musical group.  Or you could just go read a book and really stretch the old imagination.

-
THE STOLEN CHILD was influenced by wild Ireland.  Your Irish friends at Do Chara have some great Irish oddities, even if you're not making the trip.  Check out the magic roads, rag trees, road bowling, and the scary Sheela-na-Gig. Link

-
The Denver Post introduces you to Pandora.com but be careful where you click.

There you have it. Go check out Amazon where they have recruited their top reviewers to post their thoughts on the novel. They think it's delicious.

Ron Howard must have a lot of guts taking on the Christians of this country with his anti-Christian movie.  This must be a come back for the block buster movie that Australian made called "The Passion."  This Da Vinci movie is totally an anti Christian movie plot..  The book was a total let down at the end so why would I see the movie.

Ireland is a productive Island nation with many tourist opportunities.  Ireland does well as a major exporter and trader compared to many nations of Europe, but the United Kingdom is still number one in Europe in production and trade capabilities, but Ireland is not far behind and ahead of many other European nations, and is respectable for this capacity.  It is true, beer and intoxicating liquors are major exports, but then what do you do as an Island nation?  But there more there including recording studios for the music industry.

IT'S NOT TOM HANKS AGAINST THE POPE.  IT'S TOM HANKS AGAINST THE CHRISTIANS.

EVEN THOUGH SOME POPLE RECONGNIZE THE DA VINCI CODE TO BA A FICTION,
IT'S VERY STARNGE THAT THE PRODUCER REFUSED TO ADD A DISCLAIMER, AS WAS OFTEN DONE BY OTHER PRODUCERS OF MOTION PICTURES WITH CONTROVERSIAL TOPICS.

IT LOOKS LIKE THE PRODUCER HAS AN AXE TO GRIND AGAINST THE CHRISIAN FAITH.
WHEN ASKED ABOUT THE DISCLAIMNER,, THE PRODUCER AND SOME OF THE STARS ALSO BECAME CONFRONTATIONAL.

WHAT THEN IS THE REASON ?  THIS CERTIABNLY LOOKS LIKE AN INTENTIONL EFFORT TO SOW CONFUSION AMONG THE LESS INFORMED AND UNEDUCATED CHRISTIANS.

CAN ANYONE BLAME THE CHRISTAINS FOR BEING SO UPSET ?

While thinking about the amoral monsters of the id that can come out through the Virtual Club named The Lounge by ritual, rites of passage, artifacts, roll playing archetypes, unlock abilities by your actions (your personality arrives), places where certain events can take place (the Madonna room, the Kiss room, the Christian room, the Devil room, and among others, or the second level of Studio 54--but you must show something of yourself), or simply be profane with no sacred aspects and then there is Pandora.  Pandora.com with 16 million personal radio stations by the subscribers: Kudos where the media is finding out what Freedom of Press and Speech really means where blogging has been transferred to your personal music mix for the subscribers.  The future is going to be awesome as we rate each other for status in society and do statistics.

The Internet is giving a lot of pleasure to people and sometimes looks like it is simply hedonism of the mind--if it were not for news media, communication capabilities, education, and non-fiction published content, then the Internet would have no sacred values and be declared simply profane and fade from existence, or found under the convenience store counter for your bedroom under the covers with a flashlight.  The reality of people is repression and we do this to each other by rules, status, stigma, rank, sin, identity, membership, education, earned credentials, wealth, and other things in order to embrace the reality of life and that is toil in our work: this is all through or conscious and it is only by civil rights--where we do value ourselves--in the United States that, by example, President Bush has not declared marshal law and became King when the liberal media complains about his daughters in order to repress President Bush (imagine that, the liberal press picking on people and repressing them for having a good time for being in the other party, and this makes President Bush go to Congress and demand more laws controlling people and spying on people in the United States, because the liberal press says there are bad people out there having a good time, dummies they are to call themselves liberal, but this is also what people do to each other).

So, does this mean there are going be things to compete for in the Virtual Club--such as rights of passage, skills, other levels of metaphoric, mythical, perspective, real, and not with criteria for each level?  This is a theme of very successful games and interactions.  Give it all at once, then it is as interesting as the cover of Playboy where you need a fresh picture every month to keep your attention--pleasure is very fleeting without controls to heighten the experience, thus become sacred in the ordered environment.
