I don't understand. Is the woman sitting here because she has committed adultery, and been cast out and shunned by her family? If this is so, then no wonder we Americans don't accept this. Adultery is not considered a sin in our 'modern, progressive' culture. But where life is hard and simpler, people live by eternal cut and dried rules: you commit the crime, you suffer the consequences. I would never convert to Islam, but something has to be said for cultures where women can safely walk down their streets without being raped, or worse, where people believe in the sanctity of marriage and the family.

You know the Holy Bible makes it a sin to commit adultery in the heart, and I have seen someone apply that sin with weird results in this wonderful nation of liberty we call the United States of America.  The interesting thing is women and men really do like each other, and taken to extreme the only away to avoid lusting even by looking at the eyes of a woman is to deny women the right to vote, shut them up indoors, cover them head to toe including the face, and this just to make sure no sin happened, so you get heaven--this is Islam.  In reality adultery really is the sex act violating marriage where marriage between husband and wife is considered sacred, and the adultery in the heart is a warning, because people are smarter than that.  Nice to know what happens when people take the concept of sin to extreme where they completely deny part of society right down to covering any perception of sin.  Sin is in the spirit of the individual, and the act of creating sin comes from the accuser: the accuser sins as well as the accused by holding the value of sin, and the wicked have been known to accuse just to cause trouble, but the reality is they bind themselves every time they make the sin accusation.

Practice forgiveness where not all sin has merit, and I forgive anyone who lusts in the heart, because men and women are supposed to like each other, and we do have self control to be considered intelligent.  Beware of pearls before swine, so you do not have to parade your girlfriend or wife naked anywhere.
