Breakin' News | Welcome to Hobo Gardens!





A controversial proposal in Daytona Beach, Fla., would create a special village to house hundreds of the county's homeless people, Local 6 News has learned.

Volusia County Council members are expected to consider a plan to build the Tiger Bay Village and treatment facility for the area's 2,500 homeless community.

"Although it is only in its exploratory stages, developers for the Tiger Bay Village say it is invaluable," Local 6's Tarik Minor said.

"I would go to the village to get out of the weather and the cold," homeless man Daniel Hector said.

Amen, Mr. Hector, amen.

    So what's so contraversal about it? America has homeless. Many may stand a chance at getting a job if they had a place to bathe, some clean clothes, and a little rehab to giv'em a push in the right direction. Things keep going the way they are alot of us could end up homeless! Machines replacing our jobs. Mexicans replacing our jobs! Which is worse? Now the guy pictured here says he would go to the shelter to get out of the weather but would he go with intentions of being rehabilitated, folow the rules and plans set up inwhich to help him get on his feet and make something of himself or just sit back and take advantage of good tax dollars at work? Good Question! Only one way to find out though isn't there?
