Living in Spin | Sit 'n' Spin

What's the cliche? "Actions speak louder than words?" "Sitting speaks louder than standing?"

Here's a breakdown of how Pelosi and Cheney reacted to the president's points during the SOTU. Also, can we say enough with all the self-serving applause? Muchos, muchos.

(AP)

Here's a breakdown from the WaPo:

Fellow Americans, the state of our union is wobbly.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Vice President Cheney, sitting in the customary place behind President Bush as he addressed the nation from the House chamber last night, resembled nothing so much as a seesaw.

"First we must balance the federal budget," Bush said.

Pelosi shot to her feet, followed slowly by Cheney.

"We can do so without raising taxes," Bush continued.

Cheney leapt up. Pelosi started to stand, then reconsidered and sat down.

Bush called for saving "up to 8.5 billion more gallons of gasoline by 2017."

Pelosi stood to applaud. Cheney remained resolutely planted.

The president demanded a "prompt up-or-down vote" for his judicial nominees.

Cheney rose, grinning and applauding. Pelosi sat silently.

What's with the green ties? What's next St. Patricks day will be celebrated earlier and earlier? What do they think this is?  Seasons greetings? Notice the politicians are wearing green ties this week. Joe Wilson traitor purple is out. You remember Joe Wilson? He was married to the head of the CIA. Valerie Flame the SPY. That's what the placque on her desk at the New York Slimes says. Joe was sent on a secret mission by Dick Cheney who said. Joe, the party of death has not undermined us enough.  Why don't you go to Niger and find no yellowcakes and report directly to the head of the Soviet Union in New York. Pinchey Assaultberger.

So Joe went undecover to Niger dressed as a Pigme with a purple tie and short spear in his convertable marked water buffalo. As a result of a neon con sign board at the Niger hotel which said. For a good time dial 1-900-yellowcakes.
The party of death assigned a persercutor named Haiphong to arrest Cheney or at least Karl Rover. But Naiphong was busy persecuting La Crosse players for doing the hokey pokey and so the Get Cheney assignment went to a DNC shill named Fitzgerald. He failed like Naiphong and could only get a kid named scooter.

Stay tuned for the continuing saga. Hillary goes Mad dingo.

During the President's speech what in the world was wrong with Pelosi's mouth. She look like a mule eating briars and she blinked her eyes continually as well.
Sure hate to have to see her on TV and I will use the mute button every time I see her she makes me sick to look at her.

Well Geeze, doesn't the news media have things more important to chat about than this Woman touching the president?  Seems to me she was holding him there just to have her picture taken with him, after the picture was taken she turned him loose.  Lets talk about why we keep letting illegal immigrants steal and take from us daily and why the US became Mexicos largest employer.  We need to find answers to those questions and solve them and then move on to Iraq and why our soldiers are over there dying for people that really don't care and will never live in a peaceful society.  There has never been peace in the Middle East and never will be.  These topics are much more needed and interesting.
