Breakin' News | Holy S*!t, an Honest Politician

This comes off being pretty sincere to us. Yeah, we could be cynical and say he's just lining up a presidential run. Enough cynicism... it felt good listening to Hagel. What did you think?

wave the flag oh yeah, all the commenst i see are waving the flag. yeah it flet good to hit back when the towers fell, we needed someone to get even.
did everyone forget there were no weapons of mass destruction in iraq. there is no plan for iraq we just keep getting deeper in a no win war.
everyone wants to stay in iraq and fight, but we let those who really support the terrorists run free, the ones who dont tell thier people the truth because they would lose thier kingdom. Iraq isn't the problem, it was just a feel good hit for the president for his daddy.
saudi is a big player in this as is iran. i see no plan to deal with these guys. so if you don't deal with the head what is the use. our young men and women die for nothing.
the only way is a complete world war on terrorists, let the tanks roll in iran and saudi and any country that that preaches death to anyone different from them. if it calls for nukes then do it.
get us off thier oil and pump it here, even if it is ten times more, and work on our reserves to fuel an alt source for us and the rest of the world. we have the know how, use it.
as for hagel i will vote for him. i did my time and all you who think he is a traitor most likely never carried a weapon overseas for your country so your opinion is worthless in my eyes.

Hard to believe this guy could ever be President, but if he ever is I only hope he never faces the embarrassment of a people who can only weep and moan.  And blame everybody else.  Too bad those Americans who had to accept our losses at Iwo Jima, Tarawa, Omaha Beach, on...and on...and on have mostly passed away.  They knew what was at stake, what it meant to pay any price. We have quit teaching the history of an heroic America, and this is the price of it.  We are actually "proud" of a guy who can stand up and "talk tough" to a president we don't like.  We think it's OK to blame the 'gummint' when our lives aren't what we want them to be.  We wear our cowardice on our sleeves.  There was a day when cowardice was shameful.  Not any more.  Just read this blog.

We're going to lose this one.  The enemy has ten...twenty times our losses, and he's not crying about it.  And he's right about us.  We don't have the backbone for this.  Didn't have it in Viet Nam either.  Or Korea.  Remember Korea.  WE'RE STILL THERE!  Those who died in lost wars died in vain.  It's only worth it when you win.  I only wish we had enough people who wanted this war to be worth the trouble.

This one is different.  The enemy doesn't just want to win.  He wants us all dead.  Remember that when you see him again in hell.

GIVE ME LIBERTY OR GIVE ME DEATH. And any politician that would turn and run when the heat's on ought to be not only voted out of office, but to be run out of town and the country. What a scumbag. This man would probably blackmail his own Mother. You know who I'm talking about.

I just wonder how these politicians that want to stop the fighting in Irac and etc. will feel and what will their excuse be when they see our cities and people burning from the terrorist attacks that are bound to happen once we pull our troops out of Irac and other war torn places. Will they blame Bush or admit to their own ignorance? May God help these, blinded by greed for their own office, politicians, see the light before they lose their place of prestige through terrorist bombs or to be voted out because they supported the terroist through blindness and ignorance. It is too bad that most so called yellow belly Americans cannot see past their noses and know for sure that our enemies are out to distroy us at any cost. What will it take other than the towers of 911 to open some people's eyes to this fact? George Bush knows what he is talking about in this area, get past your greed for self preservation and think of others that are not as selfish as you are. Some of you would rather see America hit by terroist than to sacrifice your own worldy pleasures and that extra mercedes or BMW, or at least it appears that way.
