We tend to launch new stations on our player on Thursdays so every week, I'll be giving you the lowdown as to what's new or changed on our player.

For this week, we are launching:

  • Rock Ballads - It's time to hold up those cigarette lighters and show off your sentimental side as rockers show off theirs! Artists include: Aerosmith, Def Leppard, Bon Jovi, Green Day, Guns N' Roses, Metallica (click here)

  • Country Love - Fall in love to the romantic tunes from your favorite country stars. Artists Include: Rascal Flatts, Dolly Parton, Keith Urban, Sara Evans, Willie Nelson (click here)

  • Love Stinks - Songs of heartache and disgust. Artists Include: Kelly Clarkson, Green Day, Roy Orbison, Ben Folds Five (click here)

In addition to these new AOL Radio stations, we have also included in our monthly free bundle of XM Satellite Radio channels five new XM channels:

    • XM '40s - Big Bands & Hits of the '40s. (click here)

    • XM Escape - Instrumental arrangements from the past 60 years. The Carpenters, Ray Conniff, Neil Diamond & more. (click here)

    • XM High Standards- The Great American Songbook. Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett & more. (click here)

    • XM U.S. Country - Celebrate country's biggest stars from '80s & '90s. Alan Jackson, Garth Brooks, Reba McEntire & more. (click here)

    • XM The City - Find the urban vibe here with Hip-Hop and R&B hits. Kanye, Mary J. Blige & more. (click here)

You won't be hearing XM Willie's Place, XM Cafe, XM Classics, XM BPM and XM Suite 62 as part of this month's free offering but if there is an XM station that you want included in the future, please let us know at RadioComments@aol.com.

    Until later,

Please Do Not get rid of XM Highway 16, XM Big Tracks, XM The Blend, Reggae Roots, or any of the Christian stations. I listen to all of these every day all the time.
