It's official!

Just in time for the holidays, we have for you the new and improved AOL Radio player! Starting today, the new player will be instantly accessible by simply visiting http://radioplayer.aol.com. As I mentioned in my previous post about the Beta version of the player, the new AOL Radio player includes the following:

*    New Interface - Now get more out of your radio experience with a new, slick interface that's easier to navigate and with more editorial content.

*    Faster Access - Free users no longer have to pass through a welcome page, you go right to the player.

*    More Station Presets - You asked for it, we delivered. Now bookmark up to 10 of your favorite AOL Radio stations! But we must warn you, you'll need to reset your presets when you use Radio 4.0 for the first time.

*    Improved Vista support - Vista users will have a more seamless experience when accessing the radio player.

*    Firefox on Mac Support - Mac users can now enjoy the same player as PC users on the web using Firefox. No more signing in!

So head on over to http://radioplayer.aol.com and experience the all-new AOL Radio player. We are still gathering feedback so if you encounter any problems, or just want to tell us your thoughts and suggestions, then click on this link to let us know what's on your mind.

And as always, you can also post your comments below or e-mail me directly at TCinRadioNYC@aol.com.

Have a musical holiday,

~ T.C.

UPDATE 12/24/07: If you are experiencing problems and would like to use the old AOL Radio player again, click on this link to find out how.

The best way to record streaming, I found it the best.
CDs or any sound through your pc is with Total Recorder. You are able to drop in and out, mix and match to burn your own CDs.
    Recording save as Wav files.
It is similar to having a recorder on your hifi except it's a prog on your computer.
Download from here costing £8 here in UK (US $16 perhaps):

To rohitkumar, yes there are sound recorders you can download to record internet radio or any other sounds on your pc.  It probably isn`t legal however.  Strange, I remember recording music off the radio or LPs and the recording industry didn`t care but now for some reason the rules have changed.
