AOL Radio listeners,
If you haven't already heard, on April 30, 2008, the partnership between AOL and XM will come to an end. At that time, XM Radio channels will no longer be available via the AOL Radio player. You will still be able to listen to all the AOL Radio stations free 24/7.
XM has come up with a special limited offer for AOL Radio listeners.
Until later,
~ T.C.

This is a bad day for people who have enjoyed the better EQ AOL does to the poor sounding XM stream. I have a/b'ed AOL XM 77 (audio visions) vs. XM's stream and TC or whoever has done the EQ and plugins for the AOL stream should be congratulated. The XM stream is unlistenable---brittle/tinny/
thin/digital. Sad day.

I tried to sign up for XM, but I can not connect to it via of dial up. I have satelite tv which I can hear my favorite channel BPM channel on, but my tv is not in stereo.
Whats this about Aol Radio 24/7? Is there an AOL radio without XM? If so, how do I find it? Do they have a high energy dance channels? -
with the newly nerged CBS Radio and AOL radio a few days away any directory about what the new stations will be? Will CBS Radio be running the whole thing? Will there be an increase in commercial time per hour?
thanks -
Well, it was nice! I listened to to many of the XM Radio stations. I even signed up for the XM Radio Online for the free trail. But, I'm not going to pay just to listen to music online.
I will listen to the AOL music stations, which is included with my AOL membership.
I may end up getting satellite radio this year - in the market for a new car - and when I do, then I'll use the online radio associated with the membership. XM Radio's membership includes the Online version. Sirius does too, but you have to pay $2.99/mo for 128k sound quality. (Ain't that some crap!) So, that will be something to consider. XM does have a better music channel selection than Sirius for sure!
Anyway, I will miss the XM Rasio stations, but life goes on and I not going pay money just to listen to music on a PC. Humm, maybe there is a HD radio for me in the future.
