AOL Radio listeners,

First up, thanks for the e-mails that continue to come into my box at TCinRadioNYC@aol.com. I'm doing my best to answer as many as possible.

It also seems many of you are noticing differences between song volumes across music. We are aware of this and hope to have improvements in place by August.

If you are still having trouble listening to the new AOL Radio player, then please read these previous posts about getting Radio working for your computer as well as some additional suggestions for everyone:

1) Make sure you have the latest version of Flash installed. Go to: http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash to run the Adobe Flash installer.

2) If you are an AOL user, please make sure you are using the latest version of AOL. Go to Keyword: Upgrade if you are not using AOL version 9.1.

3) Make sure your pop-up blocker is disabled if you are clicking on the "Listen Now" AOL Radio button and are not getting anything.

4) If your presets keep disappearing, please make sure your computer is set to enable cookies. If you need more help on this, please read your browser instruction manual.

Now, if the previous four items don't help you, click on one of the links below as it pertains to you:

If you are a DIAL-UP/MODEM user of AOL, please make sure your player settings are set to Narrowband by clicking here.

If you are on a high-speed/broadband connection and you're using AOL, please try fixing your settings according to these instructions.

Until later,

~ T.C.

Today my AOL radio presets suddenly disappeared ON TWO SEPARATE MACHINES at approximately the same time and I can no longer save any presets on either machine.  Cookies are enabled as they always have been on both machines.  I did not make any known configuration changes to either machine.  Moreover, I have reproduced this new *inability* to save presets on *both* Firefox 3.0.1 and IE7.  Since this occurred at the same time on two separate machines across multiple browsers, it seems very likely to be a server-side problem rather than a cookie configuration issue.

Please share any insights, or else kindly forward this to the appropriate folks for investigation, or redirect me to a more appropriate forum ..

    thanks!
    Geoff

How do you shut this music off? Every time I sign music starts. I can't make it stop.
