For some odd reason this entry did not stay on here last night, so I am trying it again!

Dear Concerned Student:
Sorry, I am not allowed in schools.
Sincerely,
God
Then soon after reading that email, I heard of yet another school shooting on the news, and then a day or two later I saw on the news about the 14 year old boy in Pennsylvania, that was caught by police, stock piling weapons, rifles, pistols, even handgrenades and pipe bombs, all to be used in a plan he had devised on his own to make an assault on his school, classmates, other students and faculty, the likes of which would make the tragic attack at Columbine look like a walk in the park. Luckily this kid tried to talk a couple of his friends into helping him, and one of them had the good sense to go home and tell his father about it, who then went to the police. Otherwise we would have been hearing about a very horrible attack again by now I am sure.
After hearing of these events and all of those that have taken place in the past few years, I wondered to myself, why? Why is all of this happening now? Back when I was in elementary school on through high school and college even, nothing like this happened, it was never even a thought. I then wondered what was so different now, than back when I was in school? Then it hit me about the email that Taylor had sent to me, the one I added earlier. The one thing that is different now, from when I was in school, is that God is no longer allowed in school.
Then I thought about a conversation I was having just the other day with Laurinda, she had been telling me about a demon mask that seemed to be on bumper stickers and even seen someone wearing the mask on the side of the street, all of this mind you now was in preparation for Halloween I am sure. But hearing about that mask made me think of something and I told her, that the sad part of that was, that I bet a student could wear that mask and demon costume to their high school Halloween Carnival, and everyone would think they were cool for it. But at the very same Halloween Carnival, another student could dress up as Jesus Christ carrying His cross to Calvary, and he or she would be ridiculed for it, picked on and even shunned, and most likely asked by the faculty and administration, to remove the costume or leave the premises.
We have sat back and allowed our elected officials to give in to the bleeding heart liberals, and as a result give away our rights to express our religion and beliefs. The price of us allowing this to happen is coming back on us very hard now in our youth. They are carrying guns to school and killing each other at least once a week somewhere in America.
I would like to gather all of those politicians and Supreme Court judges who did not have the guts to stand up for what is right and what had always been, all in one room, and show them a video of every school shooting that has taken place, show them the dead and the wounded, the lives destroyed, and then at the end of the video, I would like to ask them, "Do you still think your votes to remove God and prayer from school was the right choice?" I bet that would instantly be the most silent room in America at that moment. I would want to see the shame and regret on their faces and in their hearts.
We've allowed too many kids to die and be maimed already and too many to slip through the cracks and become monsters. This nation was founded as One Nation Under God, and that is why this nation has been so strong and solid since it's birth. But things are going downhill fast for us, it's time for a change, a change back to being one nation under God, time for prayer and God to be allowed back in the schools where He is so greatly needed. It's not too late to make that change. If we make that change, everything in me tells me we will see a difference in our youth, a difference because we have gone back to teaching them the goodness of life, responsibility, honor, respect, and faith.
Until that change is brought about, I fear we will keep seeing kids going in to school heavily armed, killing as many as they can before killing themselves to avoid taking responsibility for what they have done.
And until those changes come about, we will continue to send our children off to school and pray to God that their day there is a safe one, and how ironic is it that we pray to the same God to protect our children at school, when we do not allow God in the schools anymore?
