Just when I thought the campaigning for the presidential nomination couldn't get more interesting and even entertaining, Hillary just had to go and show me and the rest of the country that, yeap, it can.
As most of you know by now, or hopefully you know, Hillary is crawfishing on a statement she made about her trip to Tuzla when she was the First Lady. According to her statement, she and her daughter, I guess you would call her "First Daughter" Chelsea Clinton, and their "people" landed at the runway under heavy sniper fire. According to Hillary, they had to run from the plane with their heads ducked down and straight into the awaiting vehicles and speed away. Missing out on the huge welcoming crowd that was awaiting them.
As I listened to her make this comment, I knew something was odd about it. 1. If there was a welcoming crowd gathered, wouldn't they too have been running for cover had snipers been firing into the area? Seems they would <unless they were stupid> 2. If this had really happened, would it not have been big news back when it happened? Yet I do not recall ever hearing a word about it.
There is a reason the crowd waiting for her didn't run for cover and a reason that this incident didn't make the news headlines. That is because IT NEVER HAPPENED!
Since making this completely false statement the other day, people that accompanied Hillary on that very trip to Tuzla have come forward and said that no such thing happened. And as a result Hillary has been busy crawfishing on what she said, saying that it was just a case of her mis-speaking. Mis-speaking? Is that what it is called when politicians lie now days?
The sad thing, is if this had been a soldier of The United States Military "Mis-Speaking" about his combat experience, there would be a call for prosecution and court-martial of that soldier immediately! I think the same rule should apply to Presidents and those running for president as well, I mean come on, if they're the Commander-In-Chief, or wanting to be the Commander-In-Chief, shouldn't they too be held to the same standards of honor and loyalty as the very people they command? Lead by example!
What Hillary said though, made no difference to me as to who I will support as President for this great nation. My mind was made up long ago and made up against Hillary and Obama by their own words, when they entertained the completely stupid notion of forcing our troops to carry non-lethal ammunition in their rifles and sidearms. The reasoning for this? So that we do not kill the enemy in war, we shoot him with non-lethal ammunition <rubber bullets> which disables him long enough to be captured alive and taken as a prisoner of war, and at the end of the war, he is released unharmed to return safely back to his or her loved ones waiting at home.
That made me sick to my stomach almost instantly, if I remember correctly I think I even threw up in my mouth a little bit. What a slap in the face it is to all of the loved ones of our troops that have died or been wounded and fired on, to say that they need to now carry non-lethal ammunition to keep from killing the enemy, so he can return home to HIS LOVED ONES ALIVE! What about the loved ones of our troops?? Does anyone care? To put non-lethal ammunition in the weapons of our soldiers is an insult to every American soldier and their families, we would be sending them into battle with rubber bullets, while our enemy is firing Extremely Lethal Full Metal Jacketed AK-47 Ammuntion at them. To even consider this idea told me immediately that, America does not need either of them for President. So my support is for neither of them. However, inspite of Hillary's "Mis-Speaking" incident, I do feel she is the lessor of the two evils when it comes to her and Obama, I mean at least Hillary will salute the American flag and place her hand over her heart and recite the pledge, all of which are gestures of honor dedication, that Obama flat out refuses to do.
I feel honestly that this is one of the most important Presidential Elections in the history of this nation. We have enemies that wish nothing more than to see America Destroyed and every American dead, and they have proven they will stop at nothing to achieve this.
We need a president that will be strong, that will not hesitate, blink, or flinch. A president ready and willing to destroy the enemy at the first sign of threat, if not, America will suffer, it's citizens will suffer!
That is why my support for this Presidential election will be with John McCain.
